In preparation for the monsoon season the Westside Channel was cleared of tumbleweeds and trash. During dry windy times a variety of plants like tumble weeds and trash can accumulate in the arroyos and channels. These items can be pickup by stormwater and carried down to the Rio Grande.         AFTER

Enchanted Hills Dam 1 maintenance updates for September 2016 In Enchanted Hills Dam 1 all of the cattails have been mowed to allow for infiltration and evaporation of run-off. A survey has been conducted to determine “Design” grades for sediment removal.
