August 5th Storm Update

In response the recent storm on July 26th, SSCAFCA mobilized work crews early the following morning, Saturday July 27th, to begin cleaning and restoring all of our facilities to readiness should another storm hit.  During the monsoon season, we can see storm after storm and our first priority was to make sure

July 26 storm event

On Friday, July 26th, areas in the Southern Sandoval County Arroyo Flood Control Authority (SSCAFCA) jurisdiction were affected by a severe storm event.  In the Village of Corrales a preliminary review of available rainfall data indicates a 1 hour/100 year storm event occurred between 7:00 to 8:00 p.m (rain map listed below).
